Experience the early days of the internet with our 56k bookmarklet.

Some might be too young to remember but for us a 56K modem opened the doors to the golden age of our connected lives.
More than 10 years later we’re still pushing boundaries on what we can do with it, building our own company along the way.

This started off as a joke with our amazing intern Pieter Beulque. He was working on website that used animated masks, and at a certain point in development when we saw the image pull down slowly we knew we had to make it into a bookmarklet.

At that time I was designing the breadboard components for circuits.io in SVG files so churning out an iconic modem didn't take much time.
